African champions Nigeria will tackle host nation Congo-Brazzaville, Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire in Group A of the Women’s Football Tournament of the 11th All-Africa Games, set for Brazzaville in September this year.

At Thursday morning’s Draw Show inside CAF’s imposing headquarters in Egypt, Cameroon’s Lionesses, who reached the Round of 16 at the just –ended FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Canada, will play South Africa’s Banyana Banyana, Ghana’s Black Queens and Egypt’s Lady Pharaohs in a fierce Group B.

The Super Falcons defeated the Ivorian Lady Elephants 4-2 in the opening match of the 2014 African Women Championship, which the Falcons won in Namibia.

Host Congo will take on Nigeria in the opening match, while Tanzania clash with Cote d’Ivoire. All matches will be played in Brazzaville.
